Louis Prima Jr. is an American jazz singer and the son of Louis Prima. Raised by two musician, Louis learned how to play the drums at only 5 years old. He grew up next to Las Vegas and he later moved to New Orleans, which is where he learned to play the piano. While studying in school, Louis learned how to play the trumpet and while in school, he competed in the Heavy Division of the Chaffey Jazz Festival, which earned his school a march in the Fiesta Bowl and Sun Bowl. After graduating, Louis started a band Problem Child that became popular in the Las Vegas scene. Currently, Louis performs with his band Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses. The group has released two albums, “Return of the Wildest” and “Blow”.
